Conservation

Every outdoor activity depends on healthy land and water. Hunting and fishing need habitat and healthy fish and wildlife, paddling and swimming need clean water, and hiking needs trails and public land that stay open. That's why Rec+Safe supports conservation alongside safety: the places we play are only as safe and as worth visiting as we keep them.

Our Conservation Funds

• KTOO Waterway Conservation Fund: cleanups, fishing line recycling, invasive species education and other work to protect oceans, lakes, rivers and streams. Learn how to Keep The Ocean Ocean.
• Canadian GOOSE Fund: outdoor safety education and recreational spaces in Ontario, including our support of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS).
